John O'Donnell & Son were tasked with removing trees and roots from the sonework on this wall. This involved removing parts of the wall to remove the roots, rebuilding the removed areas, repointing with lime mortar and capping off the top. We also removed a brickwork wall at the top and rebuilt it. Specialised mortar was reuired within the watercourse to ensure strength

These works involved demoloshing a failed retaining wall to an access ramp, laying a new foundation,constructing a new facing brick and block work retaining wall with tanking and drainage, new tar to area. the works were required to be completed within a holiday window. These works had added implications as there was an electricity main passing through the middle of the foundation.

This project was a complete renovation of a primary School. Our part of the works included - Enabling works to car park area to allow site set up, new electricirty main in to school, drainage works, new water connections, remedial works to stonework retaining wall and buttresses, new front boundary
